What Will It Be?

Millions are struggling for survival in Myanmar and India due to massive flooding. Already, they were poor and needy. Now, their pain is worsened. And we have the power to help them, in the name of Jesus.

Screenshot_2015-09-03-12-31-01-1Half the world goes to bed with empty stomachs, naked bodies, and broken hearts. We have feasts, closets of clothes, and the Truth that can change their lives for eternity….Won’t you please give a little to see a lost, dying, and hopeless world come to Jesus? Won’t you do what the Bible calls “pure and undefiled religion”? Won’t you please fulfill the Great Commission and be a part of helping the poor and needy across the globe? The world will only know us as Christ’s by our love. Will we love? Or will we let the world wax cold and indifferent to Jesus, who bled and died for them? God, please stamp eternity on our eyes! Let us live in the light of eternity! In Jesus’ name, amen.

Flood disaster in India and Myanmer is less known in Japan. Not so much reports on media, even when it happened. Only some NGO are working for it now.

Recently refugees problem in EU is often coverage .Both problems are so tragic, but it seems like we have much interest in problem involving depelopped countries. How sad if this come out from our egocentricity, worrying about only our benefit.

Your article on people in need always make me ponder what I forget.I thank you for it.

    • Dearest Sanae-san,

I think you are correct. I’m sorry to say it. K. P. Yohannan (founder of Gospel for Asia) said that “our enemy is our own slef-centerdness”. I believe he is correct in this. That is the killer of Christians and non-christians alike. May God not let us fall to self-centerdness! May God ignite our hearts with a holy passion and burden for the lost and dying world! May He help us to overcome and crucify our flesh! May He open our eyes to evaluate everything we do in the light of eternity! In Jesus’ name, let it be so….

  2. Dear Kay chan,

Thank you for letting us know what is happening in Myanmar and India. I believe that God has given you special burden for the people, especially for the suffering people. Not many might understand you and sometimes you might feel lonely in the way how the Lord has guided you. My dear Kay-chan, at this time, please remember Godly women like Amy Carmichael who has trodden the same way and see how they have finished the race. with much love, Kinuko

Yesterday, big flood disaster happened in Japan.(Joso,Ibaragi pref) More than 200 persons are still waiting for police/army helicopters to come to help them.A lot of people lost their houses, and damage scale is still unknown.

We should not forget that there is no safe place on the earth. We can be also victims. This may be reason that we should not forget about people in need, and stay in God.Everything is uncertain, but God never changes.

Disaster area is far from my area, but outside my house sounds of helicopters are keeping on from yesterday. The base of self diffence army(helicopter troops) is near my house. I wonder they are going to disaster area.

    Please pray for Japan.

    • Dearest Sister Sanae-san,

How tragic! But what you said is very correct. This is not our home. And God’s heart is for the poor, sick helpless, and needy. So, that’s where our heart should also be. 🙂 Praying for Japan….
